We may terminate your participation in and/or any other use by you of the European-OPC if we believe that you have breached any of these terms, conditions and/or rules or acted in a manner inconsistent with the spirit of any of them or if, for any reason, we discontinue to provide the European-OPC.

7.2. You acknowledge that we do not have to give you prior notice of any such termination.

  1. REFUNDS & CANCELLATION

8.1. Our goal is to effectively and fairly serve those members registered with the European-OPC. We will not refund registration fees, if there are any.

  1. GENERAL

9.2. If any part of these terms, conditions and/or rules shall be deemed unlawful, void, or, for any reason, unenforceable, then that provision shall be deemed to be severable from these terms, conditions and rules and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any of the remaining provisions of these terms, conditions and rules.

9.3. No waiver by us of any of these terms, conditions and/or rules shall be construed as a waiver of any preceding or succeeding breach of any of these terms, conditions and/or rules.

9.4. Unless otherwise expressly stated, nothing in these terms, conditions and/or rules shall create or confer any rights or any other benefits whether pursuant to the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999 or otherwise in favour of any person other than you and us.

9.5. Nothing in these terms, conditions and/or rules shall be construed as creating any agency, partnership, or any other form of joint enterprise between you and us.

9.6. These terms, conditions and rules contain the entire agreement between you and us relating to the European-OPC. You, as the participant or user, confirm that, in agreeing to accept these terms, conditions and rules, you have not relied on any representation save insofar as the same has expressly been made a representation in these terms, conditions and/or rules. You agree that you shall have no remedy in respect of any misrepresentation that has not become a term of these terms, conditions and/or rules save that your agreement shall not apply in respect of any fraudulent or negligent misrepresentation whether or not such term has become a term of these terms, conditions and/or rules.

9.7. We recommend that you print a copy of these terms, conditions and rules for future reference.

9.8. The sponsor(s) of the European-OPC promotions reserve(s) the right (at any time) to cancel, modify, or suspend a promotion if, in the judgement of the sponsor(s), the promotion cannot be conducted as specified. Further, the sponsor(s) reserve(s) the right to award a monetary prize in equal or greater value than the main prize in place of the main prize, at its sole discretion. The value of the main prize shall be determined on the basis of its actual value and not on any potential value or prize receivable as a consequence of the main prize.

9.9 We may transfer our rights and obligations under these terms, conditions and rules to another organisation. We will always tell you in writing if this happens and we will ensure that the transfer will not affect your rights under the contract.

9.10 We will only use your personal information as set out in our Privacy Policy and our Cookie Policy.

  1. TOURNAMENT REGISTRATION

11.1. The European-OPC reserves the right to refuse anyone entry into the tournament without explanation.

11.2. Entry into the European-OPC tournament refers to all events in the then current season. Please see our www.european-opc.com website for details. Positive proof of age and identification, in the form of a driver’s licence or passport, will need to be provided on the date of a tournament event in line with legal requirements and EU or British Casino Association guidelines.

11.3. We will consult with the relevant national Country Manager throughout the relevant national European-OPC tournament, ensuring the smooth running of the event and complete adherence to EU or British Casino Association guidelines.

11.4. WE shall appoint a Tournament Director for each national European-OPC tournament, who will take responsibility for the running of the tournament and who will consult with us as appropriate throughout all tournament events.

11.5. Each national European-OPC tournament will feature one entry per person, per event. We do not accept teams, substitutes, transfers, or assisted play. There shall be no refunds for any reason.

11.6. We may limit the number of entries into each national European-OPC tournament and may award entries through satellite tournaments, third party marketing arrangements, and/or other promotional activities to make sure multiple options to qualify for the finals are offered in different places and times.

11.7. If winnings are in play, those who win are responsible for any and all taxes, licences, registrations, and other fees that may be applicable.

11.8. Winners must show a valid picture identification in order to collect a prize.

11.9. None of our employees, our contractors hired for the operation of the European-OPC, or the immediate family members of any such employees at director level (as determined by us in our sole but reasonable discretion) are eligible to play in any European-OPC tournament events, unless approved in advance by us. Immediate family is defined as: spouse, children and any relatives or other persons residing in the employee’s place of residence.

11.10. Individuals who are excluded from casino facilities, either through a casino or government initiative or by their own request, are not eligible to participate.

11.11. Each participant must certify their eligibility to participate.

11.12. By submitting an electronic registration form to the European-OPC for registration and/or participation in the European-OPC, such persons agree to these rules in their entirety.

11.13. Participants must register online prior to the start of each European-OPC tournament event, subject to availability. Members of the European-OPC must be aged 18 years or over and proof of identification – driver’s licence or passport – will be required upon arrival at a live European-OPC tournament event.

11.14. Registration will be available to anyone who is eligible to participate according to all applicable laws and the applicable terms, conditions and rules as required by us. Registration will be available at our www.european-opc.com website or at the tournament venue. By registering for a European-OPC tournament event, you agree to allow us to communicate with you.

11.15. Registrations on the European-OPC are subject to a player certifying their player status as participant. A participant is defined as someone who wants to participate in a European-OPC tournament event.

11.16. Entries will be recorded in accordance with EU or British Casino Association guidelines.

  1. TOURNAMENT SCHEDULING

12.1. The European-OPC tournament start times at venues are to be adhered to strictly.

12.2. We may cancel, modify, relocate, or reschedule the European-OPC tournament for any reason with prior notification to the appropriate gaming regulators, where and if required.

12.3. We are not responsible for electronic transmission errors or delays resulting in omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operations or transmission, theft or destruction or unauthorised access to or alterations of entry materials, technical, hardware, software, or telephone failures of any kind, lost or unavailable connections, fraud, incomplete, garbled, or delayed computer transmissions, whether caused by any participants in or users of the European-OPC or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilised in the promotion or by any technical or human error that may occur in the processing of submissions that may limit, restrict, or prevent any player’s ability to participate in any European-OPC tournament event.

12.4. We are not responsible for any injuries or losses arising or resulting from any participation in or use of the European-OPC and we are not liable in the event of any equipment or software malfunction.

12.5. If any European-OPC tournament event cannot run as planned for any reason, including infection by computer viruses, bugs, tampering, unauthorised intervention, fraud, technical failures or any other causes within or beyond our control that corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of the tournament, we reserve the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the tournament.

  1. TOURNAMENT INTEGRITY

13.1. We may impose penalties, but not a financial penalty, upon any person who gives, makes, issues, authorises or endorses any statement or action having, or designed to have, an effect prejudicial or detrimental to the best interests of any European-OPC tournament as determined by us in our sole but reasonable discretion.

This may include but shall not be limited to expulsion from any European-OPC tournament event and venue, forfeiture of a player’s entry fee(s) and/or loss of the right to participate in that or any other European-OPC tournament, subject to the authorisation of the relevant Tournament Director.

13.2. We may disqualify any person for any prize based upon fraud, dishonesty, violation of promotional rules or other misconduct while at any European-OPC tournament venue or otherwise occurring in relation to any European-OPC tournament event or as otherwise reasonable or necessary for the European-OPC to comply with applicable regulations.

13.3. Any attempt by any person to deliberately damage any programme or to undermine the legitimate operation of the European-OPC and/or any European-OPC tournament event(s) may be a violation of criminal and/or civil laws. Should such an attempt be made, we reserve the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent of the law.

13.4. All decisions regarding the interpretation of player eligibility and the scheduling and staging of European-OPC tournaments lie solely with us.

13.5. At the European-OPC tournament venues, all decisions regarding the interpretation of the European-OPC rules and penalties for misconduct lie with us in our sole but reasonable discretion, in consultation with the relevant Tournament Director. Decisions are final.

13.6. All our employees will use reasonable commercial efforts in the decision-making process with the Tournament Director, with the understanding that the ‘best interests of the game and fairness’ shall be a priority. Unusual circumstances can, on occasion, dictate that the technical interpretation of the International Poker Rules be balanced against the interest of fairness.

13.7. All applicable European-OPC tournament rules and all changes in the rules and event descriptions for European-OPC tournament events during any given season will be available at tournament venues and on our www.european-opc.com website.

13.8. When any situation arises that is not covered by the International Poker Rules, we and the relevant Tournament Director shall have the authority to render a judgement, including the imposition of a penalty, but not a financial penalty, keeping fairness, the best interests of the players, and the flow of the relevant European-OPC tournament a priority.

  1. PLAYER LIKENESS AND IMAGE

14.1. Prior to entering and playing in any European-OPC tournament event, each participant must submit a Player Participant Release Form. Failure to do so may, if we in our sole but reasonable discretion see fit to do so, subject the player to immediate disqualification at any point during the relevant European-OPC tournament. If the player is disqualified, he/she shall forfeit all entry fees and not be entitled to any, if

present, tournament prize monies or any other prize consideration that he/she may have qualified for at the point of disqualification.

14.2. European-OPC tournament participants may wear one item of apparel with a logo no larger than six square inches in size. We reserve the right at all times to change the logo size limit, ban the wearing/display of any or all logos, or to ban any apparel or other means of advertising that contains obscene images or words or is otherwise deemed objectionable by us in our sole but reasonable discretion. The relevant Tournament Director also reserves the right to exclude any individual(s) from any European-OPC tournament event who is/are acting in a disruptive or inappropriate manner.

14.3. The national European-OPC Final winners and the European-OPC Grand Final winner may qualify to participate in a Millions, World Poker Tour or World Series of Poker event (the Professional Events) through the European-OPC. They will be required to wear European-OPC approved branded apparel or the branded apparel of any other company at our sole but reasonable discretion, throughout their period of participation in those Professional Events. Failure to abide by this rule may lead to the removal of the Professional Events prize (zero-tolerance policy).

14.4. Those who have qualified for any national European-OPC Final will be required to participate in media-related activities wearing European-OPC approved branded apparel or the branded apparel of any other company at our sole but reasonable discretion, for a period of six months following their participation in the European-OPC tournament events. Those who win the National-OPC Final, the European-OPC Grand Final or any of the Professional Events will be similarly required to participate in media-related activities wearing European-OPC approved branded apparel or the branded apparel of any other company at our sole but reasonable discretion, for a period of six months following their last game.

  1. TOURNAMENT PRIZES AND SEATING

15.1. Prizes and entries are non-transferable. The European-OPC tournament events will not support or facilitate any form of deal making.

15.2. Prize structures (if available) depend upon the number of entrants and the type of event entered. We shall not retain a fee for running any of the European-OPC tournament events.

15.3. Entrants to the European-OPC tournament events will be assigned to a table and seat through random computer selection. We reserve the right to switch to manual seating and reseating if needed for any reason.

15.4. Players not in their allotted seat when the first hand is dealt shall have their chips put into play and will be eligible to join the relevant European-OPC tournament event at any point providing they still have chips remaining. They will not be able to claim a refund of their entry fee.

15.5. Players who have made us aware that they will not be able to participate in any European-OPC tournament event prior to the start of the event will be removed from the player list and be eligible for a credit of their entry fee, to be taken at one of the next offered European-OPC tournament events.

15.6. We will be able to assign seats to alternates during the first two levels of play. Alternates will join the event with the tournament starting chip stack and they will be required to take the first available seat allocated to them. Alternates will be required to post a dead big and small blind on joining their first table.

15.7. Non-value chips are used for European-OPC tournament play.

15.8. Non-value chips used for any European-OPC tournament event are the exclusive property of the tournament venue and may not be removed from the tournament area.

15.9. We reserves the right to cancel, change or modify any European-OPC tournament event or the structure of any European-OPC tournament event at any time, for any reason, subject to all applicable regulatory approval, provided that such modification shall not, as of the date of such modification, materially alter or change any participants’ prizes already awarded.

  1. INTERNATIONAL POKER RULES

16.1 The European-OPC plays by the International Poker Rules (www.internationalpokerrules.com), possibly in combination with the latest international adjustments. The European-OPC likes to educate players from the start that one can have fun while playing by the rules. For those who would like to go pro in the future, it is important to learn to play by international standards, which is why each European-OPC tournament event will be played according to the International Poker Rules.

A player must be in or at their seat to have a live hand.

(Showdown) all cards will be turned face up once a player is all in and all action is complete.

The one-player-to-a-hand rule will be enforced.

The English-only rule will be enforced during the play of hands. Cards and chips must be visibly displayed at all times.

However, to have fun while playing is the most important rule 😉
